The Dog Who Wanted a Friend

There once was a dog named Travis who always cried ruff because he wanted a friend. Then one day some new people moved right next door by him and they had a dog too. His name was Bill. That day the two dogs played together in their backyards. After that they played together every day. One day they even took a walk around the neighborhood together.

Then one night they both decided to run away. They ran into a bad part of town that was deep into the forest. It was not a good place to be. No one dared to go in there after them. There were bears, wild tigers, and giant birds. The dogs were not scared. They were enjoying themselves. They said that it was the most fun they had ever had together. They saw a big huge elephant. It was purple and had escaped from the Circus. It was so amazing and it performed tricks for the dogs.

They soon forgot about their owners even though their owners where getting so worried about them. Just then they heard a sound. The two dogs said “Shhhhh someone is here” then it got closer and closer and it was their owners. “We are sorry we forgot about you but we were having such a blast”, said the dogs.

Both of the dogs were glad to be back safely in their homes. Their owners gave them a homecoming party that was so cool. Bill and Travis said good-bye to each other that night before bed. They were both very tired after such a long day.
